TRW is hunting at structure to modify that, and it haw hit a full newborn type of airbag ready to go. Rather than having the airbag deploy from behind the control wheel, TRW has created a system in which the airbag comes downbound from the roof. This opens up a full newborn world of automotive organisation when it comes to the inland expanse direct in front of the utility and passenger. Dashboards and control wheels could embellish farther more engrossing than they are now. You would expect a system like this to be farther off, but TRW has been working intimately with an un-named European automaker. Said maker has just awarded TRW a creation contract, which means roof-mounted airbags could arrive rather than you think.
